What this site is

share.drumbasscd.com lets you upload your own audio/video (MP3/MP4 etc) or ingest direct URLs, then it creates:

A dedicated page per file (player + download + copy link + QR)
A searchable archive (the “Download Archive” page)

Best for:

mixes, radio shows, track clips, promo packs, video uploads, quick sharing links.

Rights reminder:

Only upload/ingest content you own or have permission to share. Don’t upload copyrighted material you don’t have rights to.

Local upload (MP3/MP4)

Go to Upload.
Choose one or more files.
Tick the consent checkbox.
Click Upload.
When it finishes, you’ll get a popup with your new page links (copy/paste anywhere).

Each file gets a page like:

Troubleshooting:

If you don’t see changes after updating the site, hard refresh: Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) or Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows).

Remote URL ingest (paste up to 50 URLs)

Use this if you already have direct file URLs online and want the server to fetch them into storage and generate pages.

On the Upload page, click the floating Ingest button.
Paste one direct URL per line (max 50).
Tick consent (same checkbox as uploads).
Click Start ingest.
Watch live status updates.
When finished, click Copy page links.

Works best with:

Direct MP3/MP4 links from file hosts
CDN URLs
Servers that allow hotlinking

May fail with:

403 blocked (anti-hotlink / anti-bot / IP blocks)
429 rate-limited (too many requests, e.g. archive sites)
Links that are not direct files (HTML pages)

Remote ingest errors (what they mean)

403 (Blocked)

The host refused the download (common with anti-hotlink / anti-bot). Fix: download locally using your browser, then upload the file normally.

429 (Rate limited)

The host is telling us to slow down (common with archive sites). Fix: ingest fewer URLs per batch (5–10), wait 30–60 seconds, then retry.

Use the search box to filter by filename, artist, or title.

Tips & best practices

Use clean filenames: artist_title_date.mp3 is your friend.
Metadata helps: fill Artist/Title when uploading so archive search works better.
Remote ingest: keep it to 5–10 URLs when you’re testing new hosts.
Share smart: use the file page link (not the raw download) so people can play + download.

FAQ

Why did my remote ingest fail?

Most commonly the host blocks server-side downloads (403) or rate-limits (429). If it’s blocked, download locally and upload.

Can I upload multiple files at once?

Yes — multi-file upload is supported. You’ll get a list of page URLs afterwards.

Where are files stored?

Files are stored in object storage and served via the download endpoint; pages + metadata live in the site database.

How do I share on mobile?

Open the file page and tap the QR button. Scan the QR or copy the URL.
